We were in Bansko and in the Rodopies Mountain. WE had a great time and loved the beautiful nature. In July we are going back for 4 weeks. We want to walk in the Rila mountains and spent a week in Bansko during the jazz festival. We have meet many interesting and nice people. I am looking for more information about the rila mountains. We have got a map. We are planning to walk without a guide and having walked in the Pirin last year we know to be OK. We could not afored a guide any way.
